Kim Kardashian: Elated with boyfriend Reggie's triumph at Super Bowl

Sexy babe Kim Kardashian and her Super Bowl-winning boyfriend Reggie Bush of the victorious New Orleans Saints are having gala time.

During an interview with a news magazine Kim admits, "I am so proud of Reggie and the Saints!" "New Orleans deserves this – it's such a huge accomplishment!"

Kardashian made the Miami trip a family affair, by bringing along mother Kris Jenner and brother Robert. The group went on for dinner with Bush and his family at Prime 112 Friday night.

The Saints' stunning 31-17 win over the Indianapolis Colts was the perfect ending to a long road that Kardashian witnessed firsthand. Kim confesses,  "Reggie has waited his whole life for this moment. It came and they conquered."

Jamie Lynn Spears: Splits from old beau Casey, moves on with new guy

Jamie Lynn Spears breaks up with boyfriend Casey Aldridge and moves on in a new relationship with Hammond, La., businessman James Watson.

A close friend says, "She's going through a lot of changes." "It has been painful. She's a young mother and struggling in a lot of areas."

According to reports, Almost six weeks ago Spears moved out of the Liberty, Miss., house that she shared with Aldridge and their 19-month-old daughter, Maddie, and is now living with her mother, Lynne. The teenagers had planned to marry after Spears, who was sixteen years old then, became pregnant, gave birth to their daughter and set up house together. After a wreck last April that landed Aldridge in the ICU after he crashed his truck, Aldridge was "thinking a little more seriously about things." However Jamie and Casey did not tie knots.

A friend adds, "She did a lot of growing up but he didn't." "I think she put up with more than she cared to put up with. She just got enough of it and was tired of the situation."

Eighteen-year-old Jamie Lynn Spears has recently begun dating Watson, 28, who owns a multimedia company close to Kentwood, La.

When being asked Watson had refused to comment on this issue. A representative for Spears also has not commented on the matter.

Dear John: Knocks down 'Avatar'

"Dear John" received highest ever opening for a movie on Super Bowl weekend, thereby knocking "Avatar" out of the top spot in the process.

It is reported that "Dear John," Hollywood's fifth adaptation of a tearjerker Nicholas Sparks novel, sold 32.4 million dollars worth of tickets in the countries like U.S. and Canada since Friday to Sunday.

At last James Cameron's Avatar ended up declining 25 percent on its eighth weekend to $23.6 million. Combined with the $76 million it collected in 120 foreign countries this weekend, "Avatar" increased its worldwide total to more than $2.2 billion.

"Dear John," which stars young actors like Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfriend, posted the highest Super Bowl opening, not accounting for ticket price inflation, thanks almost entirely to teenage crowds. According to exit poll report the audience of the Lasse Hallstrom-directed film was 84 percent female and 64 percent under 21.

Geoff Ammer, president of marketing for Relativity Media, which financed "Dear John” said that he hopes that the audience for "Dear John" will expand to older women in the coming weeks.

The low-cost movie should be very profitable for Relativity as well as Sony.

Relativity said that "Dear John" cost $25 million to make, though one person close to the production who requested anonymity because budget details are confidential said the cost was $35 million.

Relativity picked up "Dear John" when it was dropped soon before production was scheduled to start by New Line Cinema. The Warner Bros. unit will receive about 7 percent of the movie's revenue in return for its early investment.

Last weekend's two new movies namely Mel Gibson thriller "Edge of Darkness" and romantic comedy "When in Rome," failed to recover from their relatively soft starts. Their ticket sales fell by 59 percent and 55 percent, respectively.

In general this weekend profits derived from all the movies in theaters were depressed by snow in parts of the East Coast as well as the Super Bowl, which led to lower-than-usual movie theater attendance on Sunday.

Miley Cyrus possesses a big heart as she has taken all the pains to engage her celebrity pals for a star-studded online auction to benefit earthquake relief efforts in Haiti.

While giving interview to a famous news magazine she says, "Ever since the earthquake, I've been trying to do my part to help the people of Haiti – and I wanted to do more."

She has made the arrangement so that all her fans can go for bid on the Herve Leger dress that she wore at the 2010 Grammy Awards ceremony as well as two tickets to the Hollywood premiere of her forthcoming film, The Last Song.

Cyrus recruited a bevy of famous friends to make donations too. For example Nicole Richie donated jewelry from her House of Harlow line and Britney Spears offered her custom silver Versace minidress she wore to 2008's MTV Video Music Awards.

Seventeen-year-old Miley adds, "Everyone has been so generous." "My mom and I started calling and texting all of our friends to see if they’d like to be a part of the auction. Demi [Lovato] was one of the first to respond. Hugh Jackman was also excited to donate something."
 
With all proceeds going to the American Red Cross to support emergency relief efforts in Haiti, Cyrus says, "I want to get people involved and show that even the little things you can do can make a difference."

Lending hands of support to hapless people has become a family affair. Miley’s elder sister, Brandi, will also perform with her band Frank & Derol at Harmonies for Haiti, a charity concert organized by Disney Channel star Chelsea Staub, on Feb. 11 at the House of Blues in West Hollywood.
